PREPARATION FOR COLONICS        Special Offer!

ONE DAY BEFORE APPOINTMENT

  • Eat slightly steamed or cooked vegetables like beets, carrots, eggplant, zucchini, mushroom, asparagus, peppers but not broccoli or cauliflower
  • Chicken, fish or boiled eggs
  • Brown Rice, brown bread, spelt pasta
  • Vegetables soups but not with cream in it
  • Oat meal with water or rice milk
  • Organic cereal with rice milk
  • Fresh Juices: carrot, beet, apple, celery
  • Tea: ginger, green, decaffeinated ones
  • Fruits like apples, dates, grapes, kiwi, melon, mangoes, papaya, watermelon, strawberries are okay - but not bananas. Also, do not combine fruits together.
  • No starches like rice, bread, pasta, potatoes, refined flour
  • No refined sugar or pastries
  • No corn, peanuts and cashews (has too many fungus and produces too much fermentation and acid)
  • No dairy at all, not even soy (causes too much gas)
  • No raw salads (causes gas)
  • No irritant foods like: spicy food, fried food (upsets the stomach, causes fermentation)
  • No alcohol or coffee (upsets the stomach and produces gas)
  • Avoid Gum (because the stomach works as if it was digesting food so it produces acidity and gas)

Please shower prior to your session. Do not eat or drink two hours prior to your appointment.
Arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment to fill out all the forms required.

Preparation for Colonics 5 to 7 days prior

  • Stop eating and drinking all dairy products like milk, yogurt, cheese, ice creams, etc. Substitute almond, rice, or oat milk products instead. Over 95% of the population is lactose intolerant.  You never see a grown cow suckle another grown cow…it goes against all laws of nature.
  • Stop drinking anything cold including soft drinks, iced teas, and water. This shocks the digestive system and makes it work harder.
  • Drink filtered or spring water. Tap water is full of chemicals! A guideline is to drink half of your body weight in ounces between meals. So, if you weigh 120 lbs., you need to drink a minimum of 60 oz. of water per day and more if you work out or have a strenuous job that makes you sweat. Gatorade is full of sugar!!
  • Substances like alcohol, caffeine, and nicotine are all neuron-toxins. This means they damage the nervous system and organs. It’s best to stop these during a cleanse.
  • Explore wheat free breads, pasta and cereals. Whole Foods sells a brand called DeLand Bakery and their millet special bread is absolutely delicious. Be sure to look for "WHEAT FREE" and "YEAST FREE" on the package.
  • Try simmering whole grains for a nice hot breakfast like millet, quinoa, buckwheat, basmati brown rice and kamut. Use what’s left as an addition to your lunch or dinner menu.
  • Increase your consumption of leafy green vegetables like raw spinach, steamed kale or Swiss chard.  They are full of magnesium, other essential nutrients and have a natural laxative effect on the bowel.
  • Avoid fruits with the exception of papaya and avocado. Both laxative foods.
  • Substitute red meats with fish, chicken, buffalo, Sunshine Burgers, Gimme Lean Sausage, seitan, beans and turkey. BUY ORGANIC!!
  • Eat complete meals so you feel satisfied. Each meal must have a protein, a complex carbohydrate (grains), good fat and a vegetable mix.
  • Good fats include organic extra virgin olive oil, safflower oil, sunflower oil, pumpkin seed oil, flax, toasted sesame oil and coconut oil. All heart healthy!!
  • Notice what foods make you bloated and avoid them for the whole preparation time. Then reintroduce and see if that is the offending food.
  • Go slowly with all of this. If you start throwing away everything in your kitchen, you’ll have a family mutiny. Remember small changes will make a big difference.
